I once complained about getting out the rat- race, you know the hustle and bustle of city life. There's always a meeting to go to, there's always brunch with friends, there's always a new opportunity. The paper chase- material chasing staying up to date with latest technologies. I mean it's so much but one thing I know for sure when you move into a different environment, you are literally detoxing all that you knew from the old environment. You go from walking so fast to walking a bit slower. You go from speed text messaging with family and friends to taking the time to pick up the phone. When you relocate you want to have adaptable spirit and learning to readjust. For some it's hard but for others its easy because you learn to disconnect from all that you know for the sake of learning new qualities of life.
There are 5 things I have learned within this year that have helped with readjusting:
You don't know everything so get ready to unlearn, relearn
Not everyone is on your timetable expediting service is not Universal, practice patience
Communication is key if you are like me who tends to talk fast, slow down
Less is more everything I thought I wanted I no longer needed
Saying No ( with no explanation)
