I remember after losing my mother I clinged to my Dad like never before. Suddenly he became both my Mother and Father all in one. I felt a shift in our relationship it became much stronger. I begin to ask him more questions about him and my mothers marriage etc. I was gathering so much information and and insight my Dad became more vocal and transparent about their love and their union. Then after he passed on recently suddenly it dawned on me. I have no parents, I am an adult orphan. Growing up I thought my parents were going to live through their golden years but that wasn't the situation. Going through the motions of double sadness, double pain, and trying to make sense of it all. My heavenly father reminded me I AM YOUR FATHER!!! I blessed you with your earthly parents and brung them back home. Now, it's time for you to gain more access to me, get closer to me, know my ways so I can raise you and guide you. This was part of acceptance and begin the double healing, double restoration, double strength. So for those who may have lost a parent or both like myself know that our heavenly Father his children in the palm of his hands.
