One of the first things I do before I start my day is give thanks to my heavenly father and give an outpour of gratitude. I've also been intentional with not answering any calls or responding to text messages, emails until after 12 noon eastern standard time. I need my early mornings for myself so I turn my phone on airplane mode. These moments are dedicated to devotional time and checking in with these questions:
Who am I?
Where am I ?
Where would I like to be?
What will bring me joy today?
Who do I need to reach out to?
I ask these questions within my heart whilst meditating on the word of the day and allow the answers to flow. I also like to stretch- daily stretching has done wonders for my body as it helps to reduce stress, increased my posture and blood circulation. I can't forget my love for diffusing which is one of my top regimens. Aromatherapy has been life changing for myself and those around me. I can't stress enough about investing in a diffuser. It purifies the air adds moisture also helps with breathing when used with essential oils. I try to keep my routines simple as possible. There is a natural flow when you take
on the less is more approach but we all need to do what is best for our mental, emotional, psychological, physical, spiritual well being.
