Give in proportion to what you have. Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don't have. Of course, I don't mean your giving should make life easy for others and hard for yourselves.
2 Corithians 8:12-13 NLV
It is simple, You have to make sure your cup is full in order to be in position to pour into others. How can two empty people help each other? Sometimes it doesn't have to with finances but also with your time and wisdom and knowledge. Don't feel guilty as a believer if you don't have anything to give at that moment. Being a cheerful giver comes from the heart. Giving doesn't also mean becoming someones doormat. Create a boundary, just because your in position to offer someone money doesn't mean your chase bank. Be discerning as the lendor and also of the borrower.
