How To Have Faith When It Seems As If Nothing Is Happening

One of my favorite scriptures is " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1 KJV When I looked up the word "evidence" in the Strong Concordance by definition the word evidence transliteration from greek is elegchos by definition is proof of conviction.

Now, l will be the first to say even as a young girl I've activating my faith with "proof of conviction" and not realizing it. It's one of those things where you just know, that you know, that you know everything will work out. But sometimes our faith can be tested when you've done EVERYTHING ( pray, meditate on the word of God, worship, focus on righteous living, tithing, helping others.) And still, nothing is moving God has become silent everything is at a stand still. Trust me I too have experienced these scenarios, yet and still in the moment where it seems nothing is happening... EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING.

I remember when I was in my senior year of as student in University, my financial aide and grants came to a halt. I was staying in a very expensive dorm and the only option was to move out. Long story short I end up being homeless because I didn't have a place to stay my final year in College. Me, being the go - getter I am, I remember taking the Grey hound bus to Virginia with no back up plan. I was a late registration student with no room and board. I called my friend to let them know I was coming while already on the bus But God!!! Even in the midst of not knowing God provided a roof over my head while I was able to get my school business situated. I was able use the money that would have went towards staying on campus, to moving in an apartment close distance to campus. Although I missed a couple classes, I was able enroll and managed to graduate!!! I literally made moves with blind faith with proof of conviction that God already had it worked out!!! I have numerous testimonies and we would be here for weeks if I shared them. But God provision still stands!

There are countless stories in the Bible on having faith and it's important to be reminded of what he has already done. Our life is in the palm of his hands and we must surrender fully; we shall see the manifestation of his glory in our lives. In the mean time while we wait let's Thank God for what he has already done. He is El Shaddai The All Sufficient One. We all have needs and desires and he already knows this according to Jeremiah 29:11. Lets make a huge faith move by praising him in advance!!!
